Two hurt in Henry County accident

Stephanie O. Worthington, 40, and Russell A. Worthington, 41, both of Clinton, sustained minor injuries at 2 p.m. Saturday in a Henry County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2015 GMC Sierra driven north by Joseph M. Beatty, 78, of Blairstown, crossed the centerline of Northwest 673 Road and struck a southbound 2018 Ram driven by Worthington.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts. Stephanie Worthington was transported by private vehicle for medical treatment. Russell Worthington was transported by Golden Valley ambulance to Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare in Clinton.

One hurt in Johnson County three-car pile up

Janice D. Skaggs, 59, of Higginsville, sustained minor injury at 7:20 p.m. Saturday in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2013 Buick LeSabre driven by Mark A. Skaggs, 59, of Higginsville, and a 2019 Toyota C-HR driven by Alexa G. Owens, 23, of Springfield, were stopped in the roadway when a 2008 Chevrolet Malibu driven by Jacob W. McClintock, 23, of Warrensburg, overtook the vehicles. He hit the LeSabre, causing it to hit the Toyota.

All drivers were wearing seat belts. Skaggs was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg by Johnson County Ambulance District.

Greenwood woman injured in Johnson County motorcycle accident

Jan M. Mullane Lowery, 65, of Greenwood, sustained moderate injuries at 2:40 p.m. Sunday in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Lowery was driving a 2006 Suzuki west on U.S. Highway 50 near Northwest 821 Road when she traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a traffic sign.

Lowery was not wearing a helmet and was transported to Research Medical Center in Kansas City by Johnson County Ambulance District.
