Timothy F. Potts, 35, of Versailles, suffered moderate injuries and James W. Newkirk, 78, of Gravois Mills, suffered moderate injuries at 9:50 a.m. Tuesday in a Morgan County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2011 Dodge 4500 driven by Potts south on state Route 5 crossed the center of the road and struck Newkirk’s northbound 2015 Subaru Forester, causing it to travel off the right side of the roadway and overturn.
Potts was not wearing a seat belt, Newkirk was. They were both transported to Lake Regional Hospital by Mid-MO Ambulance District
