Kansas woman injured in Johnson accident

Andrea P. Argueta, 20, of Shawnee, Kansas, sustained minor injuries at 5:30 p.m. Friday in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Argueta was driving a 2006 Toyota Camry east on U.S. Highway 50 at County Road 1421 when she began hydroplaning on wet pavement, traveled off the right side of the road through a ditch, became airborne, traveled over NE 1421 Road, struck a stop sign and a tree.

Argueta was wearing a seat belt and was transported to Lee's Summit Medical Center. 

Warrensburg man hurt in Johnson accident 

Sawyer C. Miller, 28, of Warrensburg, sustained minor injuries at 6:43 p.m. Sunday in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado driven by James T. Thompson, 84, of Warrensburg, made a wide turn on Northwest Division Road at 101 Road and struck the front of a 2007 Chevrolet TrailBlazer driven by Miller.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts. Miller was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg by Johnson County Ambulance District.
