Clinton man hurt in Henry County accident

James C. Lewis, 68, of Clinton, received minor injuries at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday in a Henry County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Lewis was driving a 1976 GMC truck east on Southwest 300th Road when he traveled off the right side of the road to avoid another vehicle. Lewis’ vehicle overturned.

Lewis was wearing a seat belt and was transported to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton.

Two injured in Morgan County accident

Susan M. Pierce, 61, of De Kalb, suffered moderate injuries, and Ray G. Krumme, 93, of St. Joseph, suffered serious injuries at 1:13 p.m. Tuesday in a Morgan County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Pierce was driving a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado south on state Route 5 when he traveled off the right edge of the roadway. His vehicle struck an embankment and overturned.

Both occupants were restrained by seat belts. Pierce was transported by Mid-Mo Ambulance District to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach. Krumme was transported by MU Air Care to University Hospital in Columbia.

Versailles pedestrian injured by hit-and-run driver

Kenneth L. Lutjen, 65, of Versailles, suffered moderate injuries at 4 p.m. Tuesday in a Morgan County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Lutjen was walking north on Route D when he was struck by an unknown vehicle.

He was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center by Mid-Mo Ambulance District.

Russellville man injured in Morgan head-on

Stanley W. Henson, 57, of Russellville, suffered moderate injuries at 8 a.m. Wednesday in a Morgan County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2016 Chevrolet 3500 driven by Adam S. Howard, 44, of Versailles, was headed east on state Route 52 when he crossed the center line. His vehicle struck the driver's side of a westbound 2002 Mercury Sable driven by Stanley W. Henson, 57, of Russellville. The 3500 continued east and struck a 2017 Ram 1500 driven by Kaleb M. Kelly, 28, of Fulton, head-on.

Howard was not wearing a seat belt, but Kelley and Henson were restrained. Henson was transported by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach.
