Knob Noster woman injured in Johnson crash
A Knob Noster woman was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 11:31 a.m. Saturday in Johnson County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Ashley N. Davis, 33, was driving north on state Route 23 just south of Southeast 275th Road when her vehicle hydroplaned on the wet roadway. Her vehicle traveled off the right side of the road and overturned.
Davis, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to Research Medical Center in Kansas City with minor injuries.
Clinton man hurt in motorcycle wreck
A Clinton man was injured in a two-vehicle accident at 11:20 a.m. Monday in Benton County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the crash occurred as traffic was stopped. Fernando Lomeli, 69, was driving a motorcycle north on state Route 7 south of Cold Springs Road when his vehicle overtook and struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Amanda R. Fisk, 35, of Lenexa, Kansas.
Lomeli was taken by ambulance to Bothwell Regional Health Center with minor injuries. The report indicates Fisk was wearing a seat belt but Lomeli was exempt from using a safety device.
