Man hurt in Johnson crash

A Concordia man suffered moderate injuries in a two-vehicle accident at 11:51 a.m. Tuesday in Johnson County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Kaitlyn J. Nepote, 27, was driving south on state Route 13 at state Route YY when she struck the rear of another southbound vehicle driven by Harold L. Oetting, 77. 

Oetting was taken to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.

Johnson crash leads to DWI arrest

A Centerview man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after a single-vehicle accident at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Johnson County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Ronald L. Todd, 71, was driving north on Northwest 301st Road just south of Northwest Division Road when he traveled off the right side of the road into a ditch.

Todd was taken by Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg with minor injuries.

Two hurt in Pettis accident

Two people received minor injuries in a two-vehicle accident at 2:50 p.m. Wednesday in Pettis County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Monte L. Truesdell, 68, of Slater, was driving east on U.S. Highway 50 near state Route MM when he struck another eastbound vehicle driven by Dora E. Costilla, 49, of Sedalia. Truesdell’s vehicle came to rest in the right lane.

Costilla was taken by Pettis County Ambulance District to Bothwell Regional Health Center. Truesdell refused treatment at the scene.

KC woman hurt in Morgan crash

A Kansas City, Missouri, woman suffered moderate injuries in a two-vehicle accident at 12:17 p.m. Tuesday in Morgan County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Barbara A. Ellison, 66, was driving north on state Route T at state Route 135 when she made a right turn in front of a southbound vehicle driven by Benjamin G. Mullet, 36, of Harrisonville.

Ellison was taken by Mid-Mo Ambulance District to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach.
