Aug. 22

3:52 a.m.: Officers were dispatched to a commotion in the 1500 block of South Barrett Avenue. A report was taken.

Arrests

Aug. 21

9:45 a.m.: Jeremy A. McDaniel, of Windsor, was arrested after deputies, detectives from the Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force and Sedalia Police officers attempted to stop a motorcycle driven by McDaniel, who has a revoked license. McDaniel saw the deputy behind him and sped off, leading law enforcement on a pursuit before crashing near East 16th Street and South Marshall Avenue. Deputies located approximately three ounces of methamphetamine. McDaniel was transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold pending charges of second-degree drug trafficking, driving with a revoked license - third offense, resisting arrest by fleeing creating a substantial risk of injury or death, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
