Arrests

Aug. 24

11:33 p.m.: Patrick Reeves, 27, of the 400 block of East Seventh Street, was issued a citation after officers stopped a vehicle after observing it turn east into the westbound lanes of traffic at West 16th Street and South Limit Avenue. Reeves had a suspended driver's license and the vehicle was improperly displaying a Missouri vehicle plate. He was also unable to prove the vehicle was insured. Reeves was arrested, cited, and released on scene.

Incidents

Aug. 23

11:17 p.m.: A victim reported gasoline being stolen from two of his vehicles parked in the 1800 block of South Beacon Avenue.

1:53 p.m.: Officers received a phone call from the 400 block of West Second Street regarding a possible fraud through Facebook Marketplace. The reporting party stated he was attempting to purchase a skid steer and sent the deposit but wanted it back after the seller refused to deliver the item. Officers were able to identify a suspect and a report was submitted.
