This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.
2:32 a.m.: Felicia Lynn Byrd, 29, of the 300 block of East Fourth Street, was arrested after being observed impeding the flow of traffic by sitting at a green light in the westbound lane of West Broadway Boulevard at Kentucky Avenue. Byrd was arrested for driving while intoxicated-prior offender-drugs and alcohol, and driving with a revoked license. She was placed on a 24-hour hold at the jail.
4:45 p.m.: Timothy Michael Morris, 39, of the 400 block of North Quincy Avenue, was arrested after a vehicle stop near North Park Avenue and West Main Street for moving violations. Morris was intoxicated and had a child in the car. Due to the manner of driving and further evidence, he was arrested for driving while intoxicated and first-degree endangering the welfare of a child.
8:49 p.m.: Officers responded to the 3000 block of South Limit Avenue in reference to a motor vehicle crash. An investigation and subpoena of medical records evidence revealed the driver was impaired by alcohol at the time of the crash. A state charge of driving while intoxicated-prior offender is being requested.
6:42 p.m.: Hunter A. Fisher, 23, of La Monte, was arrested in Pettis County for driving while intoxicated-alcohol, displaying the plates of another vehicle, failure to maintain financial responsibility and failure to transfer a certificate of ownership. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail and released.
