Arrests

March 6

2:32 p.m.: Jacoby Indiana Gepford, 30, was arrested after officers were dispatched to a trespass at Compass Health, 1700 W. Main St. Officers met the reporting party outside who informed officers of a subject in the lobby arguing and wanted him to leave. Officers asked Gepford to step outside, but he failed to comply with verbal commands and fled on foot leading officers in a short pursuit. Gepford was taken into custody. Charges were submitted for first-degree trespass, misdemeanor resisting arrest, felony resisting arrest, tampering with a motor vehicle and escape from custody.

9:24 p.m.: Elmer Jewel Miley Jr, 40, of the 600 block of East 10th Street, was arrested after police were dispatched for a domestic disturbance. Miley had a weapon and verbal commands were given to put the weapon down. Miley complied and was transported to the Pettis County Jail pending charges of first-degree domestic assault, unlawful use of a weapon, armed criminal action, and unlawful possession-transfer-manufacturing-repair or sale of an illegal weapon.

March 7

11:00 a.m.: Austin August Boatcher, 27, of the 1900 block of South Montgomery Avenue, was arrested after officers were dispatched in reference to property damage. They gathered information from both parties and City charges were submitted for property damage and ordinance violations.

11:00 a.m.: Yevgeniy Ivanovich Sonnik, 36, of the 1900 block of South Brown Avenue, was arrested after officers were dispatched to a property damage report in the 1900 block of South Montgomery Avenue. They gathered information from both parties. City charges are being submitted for property damage and an ordinance violation.

3:25 a.m.: Joseph Henry Hendrix, 45, of the 900 block of Boonville Street, was arrested after officers responded to the 1300 block of South Harrison Avenue for a burglary in progress. The caller woke to an unknown man standing in her bedroom doorway. Hendrix was taken into custody and transported to the Pettis County Jail where he was placed on a 24-hour hold pending charges of first-degree burglary, first-degree trespassing and possession of a controlled substance in a jail.

Incidents

March 7

9:26 a.m.: Officers responded to a theft report at the Primrose retirement home, 3751 W. 10th St. They spoke with the reporting party and staff members. A report of the incident was made for documentation purposes. No charges are being pursued.

5:56 p.m.: A found property report was taken in the police department lobby from a subject who found a wallet in the 1700 block of West Broadway Boulevard. Attempts to contact the owner were unsuccessful and the wallet was placed into evidence for safe keeping.
