This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Arrests

Jan. 5

12:01 a.m.: Rodrigo Quetzecua Marcos, of the 1800 block of South Montgomery Avenue, was arrested after an officer conducted an investigative traffic stop near West Broadway Boulevard and Thompson Road. The registered owner of the vehicle is known to have a revoked driving status and Marcos was transported to the Pettis County Jail for felony driving while revoked.

1:39 a.m.: Juan Quetzecua Marcos, 29, of the 700 block of West Cooper Street, was arrested after a traffic stop for not properly displaying registration plates on South Limit Avenue near West 16th Street. Marcos had a suspended driving status and was transported to the Pettis County Jail for driving while intoxicated - prior offender and driving with a suspended license.

2:40 a.m.: Brandon Lewis Srader Sr., 42, was arrested after an officer was dispatched to a disturbance in the 600 block of South Washington Avenue. The officer made contact with the suspect and victim as they were walking down East Broadway Boulevard and South Washington Avenue. A primary physical aggressor was determined and Srader was transported to the Pettis County Jail for felony domestic assault.

Jan. 6

1:35 p.m.: Juan Quetzecua Marcos, 29, of the 700 block of West Cooper Street, was arrested after a traffic stop for improper registration plates. It was discovered Marcos had a suspended driving status and he was transported to the Pettis County Jail for driving with a suspended license.

Incidents

Jan. 3

9:18 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to a business in the 1600 block of East Broadway Boulevard for a theft report. They interviewed the reporting party and conducted an investigation for a report.

Jan. 4

4:53 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of South Ohio Avenue in reference to a male subject who had exposed himself to a female. The female, who was at work, was assisting the male and applying for an apartment when the male exposed himself. Charges will be requested through the state prosecutor's office for harassment and sexual misconduct.
