This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.
10:45 p.m.: Jared W. Sanders, 42, of the 800 block of West Fifth Street, was arrested after a traffic stop for speeding near West Third Street and South Barrett Avenue. Sanders was intoxicated and was transported to the Pettis County Jail for driving while intoxicated - persistent offender.
8:49 p.m.: Jasean Henry, 23, of the 200 block of East Second Street, was arrested after an officer was dispatched in reference to a disturbance. After speaking with the parties involved, a primary aggressor was determined and Henry was transported to the Pettis County Jail where he was placed on a 24-hour hold pending a charge of third-degree domestic assault.
1:34 p.m.: A man from the 3100 block of Wing Avenue came into the police department to report he had money stolen from him. A report was completed.
