This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.
8:37 a.m.: Officers took a report of a previous vehicle theft from the 1000 block of Royal Lane in the lobby of the police department. Officers spoke with the reporting party and collected information for a report.
10:52 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 2900 block of West Broadway Boulevard in reference to a previous theft. Officers met with the manager of a store, who provided a statement and video footage of the theft. A report was submitted.
2:34 p.m.: Talasaldro Nennis, 24, of Marshall, was arrested in Saline County for felony identity theft, no valid driver's license, speeding, no insurance, and failure to display valid plates. Nennis was transported to the Saline County Jail and released.
