Arrests

Jan. 5

2:15 a.m.: Dwight Albert Trester II, 61, was arrested after officers responded to a business in the 3400 block of West Broadway Boulevard in reference to a noise complaint. The complainant said a customer was yelling and causing a disturbance and wanted him removed from the property. Officers gave the subject multiple lawful orders to leave the property, which he refused. Trester was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center for a fit of confinement, then admitted to Bothwell for further medical treatment. He was arrested for second-degree trespass.

Incidents

Dec. 29

11:23 a.m.: An associate at a business in the 3200 block of West Broadway Boulevard reported a shoplifter and a report was completed.

Jan. 3

4:56 p.m.: An officer took a theft report in the police department from the 1000 block of West Third Street. The victim gave money as part of a rental scam with a value of approximately $1,270.

Jan. 4

4:36 p.m.: An officer was dispatched to the 1600 block of West Broadway Boulevard in reference to a theft report. A victim said sometime within the past week, someone stole a license plate from his vehicle. The plate was entered into the system as stolen.
