This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.
10:24 a.m.: Brandon G. Ray, 38, of the 1300 block of East 11th Street, was arrested after officers were dispatched for a domestic disturbance. Ray was transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold pending state charges of third-degree domestic assault.
8:58 a.m.: Police officers and Sedalia Fire Department personnel responded to the 800 block of East 13th Street in reference to a vehicle fire. The fire was successfully extinguished and did not appear suspicious, but reportedly was electrical in nature. A general information report was completed.
7:12 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of South Prospect Avenue for a report of vandalism. They collected information and generated a report.
9:21 p.m.: Officers responded to the 3100 block of West Broadway Boulevard for reports of a vandalized window. They collected the information necessary to generate a report.
