June 7
1:15 a.m.: Adam M. Moore, 38, of Cole Camp, was arrested after Sedalia police responded with Sedalia Fire to a fire alarm at a business in the 3400 block of West Broadway Boulevard. After being informed by SFD nothing was found, SPD officers were informed by the business’ staff that they had the subject on video pulling the alarm. Officers were able to identify the subject, who was placed under arrest for second-degree tampering, transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold for the same charge.

June 6
6:08 p.m.: Officers took a fraud report over the phone from the 1200 block of West Broadway Boulevard. The victim stated a subject was able to gain access to a personal computer during an update and attempted to get the victim to provide a $5,200 gift card from Sephora. When they determined it was a scam and confronted the subject, they hung up the phone.
