This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Incidents

May 4

5:05 p.m.: An officer was dispatched to the lobby of the police department in reference to a theft report. A victim from the 300 block of McAnally Court stated a month ago, someone stole their phone.

May 6

4:45 p.m.: An officer spoke with a victim on the phone in reference to the theft of a credit card. The victim explained his credit card was stolen while he was shopping at a business in the 700 block of East Broadway Boulevard and was later used at local businesses. The card was shut down and a report was made with his bank.

May 7

12:22 p.m.: Emergency crews responded to South Limit Avenue and Tiger Pride Boulevard in reference to a vehicle crash with injuries. A northbound Chevrolet Equinox rear-ended a Subaru Outback, causing the Subaru to strike the rear of a third vehicle that fled the scene without providing information. The driver of the Subaru was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center by Pettis County Ambulance District with minor injuries.
