This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Sedalia Police Department

Arrests

March 10

7:47 p.m.: Maria Nandho Salvador, 43, of the 100 block of East Boonville Street, was arrested after a vehicle stop for an equipment violation in the 100 block of East Boonville. Nando did not have a driver's license and was transported to the police department, issued a summons and released.

Incidents

March 4

12:26 p.m.: A man came into the lobby of the police department to report an assault that had occurred the night before in the 1400 block of West Main Street. A report was completed and charges are being filed.

March 8

8:08 a.m.: An officer was dispatched to a business in the 3400 block of West Broadway Boulevard for a theft report. The victim stated that sometime overnight, someone entered his room and stole medication out of his pocket.

9:54 p.m. Officers responded to the 200 block of West Saline Street for a burglary. The homeowner was not at home when a subject forcibly entered the residence, causing some damage and stealing property. A suspect has not been identified at this time.

Pettis County Sheriff’s Office

Arrests

March 8

6:06 p.m.: Gina Rose, of Knob Noster, was arrested after deputies conducted a traffic stop near Highway Y and Botts Road in Pettis County on a vehicle with no license plates. Rose consented to a search and deputies located three different types of pills, which were listed as Schedule 4 controlled substances. Rose was transported to the Pettis County Jail pending a charge of possession of a controlled substance.

March 10

3:02 a.m.: Hugo J. Hermosillo, 42, of Sedalia, was arrested in Pettis County for driving while intoxicated, speeding, and no proof of insurance. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail and released
