Arrests

March 20

8:20 p.m.: Ryan James Pennington, 31, of the 3600 block of Woods Court, was arrested after a vehicle stop near West Broadway Boulevard and South Limit Avenue for failing to maintain a lane. Pennington had a suspended driver's license and two Pettis County warrants. He provided a false name and later concealed a methamphetamine pipe into the jail and while under the influence of drugs. He was arrested for concealing a controlled substance in a jail facility, possession of a controlled substance, identity theft, driving while intoxicated-drugs, driving with a suspended license, failure to maintain financial responsibility and a failure to appear warrant.

March 21

6:14 p.m.: Liborio Ubaldo Herrera, 41, of the 1800 block of South Stewart Avenue, was arrested after officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for disobeying a stop sign. Herrera did not have a valid driver's license and provided a fake name. He was arrested for driving without a valid license and, after a consent search, a powdery substance was located, testing positive for methamphetamine. Herrera was transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold pending charges of possession of a controlled substance and driving with a suspended license.

11:04 p.m.: James David Kohrs, 43, of the 1500 block of South Grand Avenue, self-surrendered at the Pettis County Jail on a failure to appear warrant. The suspect brought a bag of methamphetamine residue into the jail and was placed on a 24-hour hold for introduction of a controlled substance into a jail facility and possession of a controlled substance.

11:53 p.m.: Tara Lynn Davis, 41, of the 500 block of South Fourth Street, was arrested after a vehicle stop near East Third Street and South Washington Avenue. She was recognized and known to have a suspended license. She was transported to the Sedalia Police Department, booked and released for driving with a suspended license.

Incidents

March 21

5:49 a.m.: Officers were dispatched to the intersection of East Saline Street and Engineer Avenue for a report of assault by persons using a paintball gun. They gathered information from the victim and a report was completed.

8:14 a.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of West Fourth Street for a report of property damage. They gathered information from the victim and a report was completed.

6:54 p.m.: Officers took a report from a subject about fraudulent card charges on his credit card. Officers gathered information for a report.
