This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.
5:47 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 2000 block of West Main Street for a stolen property report. They gathered the necessary information to generate a report and to place a BOLO alert for the stolen license plate.
8:05 p.m.: Officers responded to the 3400 block of West Broadway Boulevard regarding shots fired. They located three subjects who said an unknown Black male had fired multiple rounds at them and fled the scene. After an initial investigation, it was apparent that it was an isolated incident. The investigation is ongoing.
