This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Arrests

May 17

8:45 a.m.: Jillian Kline Walker, 28, of the 1400 block of Elm Hills Boulevard, was arrested after a traffic stop for speeding in a school zone. Dispatch stated the driver had a suspended driver's license. Walker was placed under arrest and transported to the Pettis County Jail where she was booked and released.

3:40 p.m.: Lewis Henry Tuck II, 48, of the 2900 block of South Washington Avenue, was arrested after a traffic stop on a vehicle for defective brake lights as well as speeding. The driver stated he had a revoked driver's license. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Pettis County Jail where he was booked and released. 

May 18

828 a.m.: Jonathon Daniel Skrzypczak, 24, of the 4300 block of McVey Road, was arrested after a traffic stop for speeding in the area of East Broadway Boulevard near South Merriam Avenue. The driver was in possession of marijuana and was issued a Sedalia municipal summons and released. 

8:38 p.m.: Nico Jax Lux, 27, of the 700 block of Wilkerson Street, was issued a summons after officers were dispatched to the 2200 block of West Broadway Boulevard for trespassing. Investigation revealed the suspect punched the victim in the face, causing injury. The suspect was arrested for assault.

May 19

3:02 a.m.: Thomas B. Walje, 47, of the 2300 block of East 10th Street, was arrested after officers responded in reference to a disturbance. The complainant stated that an intoxicated male subject was yelling in the middle of the street. Walje was identified, issued a citation for public peace disturbance, and placed on a 12-hour hold.

Incidents

May 17

1 p.m.: Lori Jo Glenn, 58, of Clinton, was arrested after officers were dispatched to the 300 block of East 16th Street for a report of illegal dumping. The owner of the business stated someone had been using his trash cans to place their personal trash from home. He was able to provide security camera footage of the incident. The suspect was identified and later confessed. The subject was mailed a summons for the incident. 

4:30 p.m.: An officer was dispatched to the 1600 block of Heck Avenue for a report of a domestic disturbance that was no longer in progress. The next day the victim showed injuries she received from her husband. She stated she also had an ex-parte agreement against her husband. Charges of third-degree domestic assault and violation of a court order are being sought. 

4:46 p.m.: Officers responded to the emergency room at Bothwell Regional Health Center to make contact with a subject who had reported an assault that occurred in the 200 block of Scott Joplin Court. The victim reported an unknown subject entered the residence and assaulted her. 

9:34 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of State Fair Boulevard for a disturbance. Investigation revealed a known suspect damaged a TV in the house as well as the victim's car before fleeing the scene. Charges for property damage are being requested. 

May 18

3:55 p.m.: An officer took a report in the lobby of the police department regarding tampering with the motor vehicle and property damage that took place between Friday, May 14 and Saturday, May 16. The total damage to the vehicle was valued at $500.

4:55 p.m.: Officers responded to the 2900 block of Clinton Road for a report of a theft. The officer spoke with the owner of the business who stated the catalytic converter was stolen off a car during the early morning hours of May 17.

5:51 p.m.: An officer took a report over the phone regarding a stolen vehicle. The caller said she had loaned her vehicle to a friend on May 14 with the agreement that it would be returned on May 15. The vehicle has still not been returned or recovered. 

7:51 p.m.: James Paul McKee, 32, of the 1400 block of South Sneed Avenue, was issued a summons after a traffic stop near 16th Street and South Grand Avenue for speeding through a school zone. The driver stated his license was revoked. He was issued a summons.

8:57 p.m.: An officer was dispatched to the 1100 block of East Broadway Boulevard in reference to a burglary. The caller said suspects had come to the residence and attempted to retrieve property they were having a dispute about. The suspect then kicked in the door of the residence and pulled a gun on the victim, holding him at gunpoint while searching for the property. At this time no arrests have been made.

Arrests

May 18

11:36 p.m.: Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a tan-colored Lexus for an equipment violation in the area of West Third Street and South Grand Avenue. A probable cause search was conducted on the driver and the vehicle. In the search, a small amount of marijuana was located along with drug paraphernalia. The driver was arrested and released at the scene with a court date. Two juveniles in the vehicle were released to their parents at the scene.

Arrests

May 17

12:41 p.m.: Channon L. Ross, 21, of O'Fallon, was arrested in Saline County for felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was transported to the Saline County Jail and released.

May 18

3:43 p.m.: Tony D. Meyer, 48, of Sedalia, was arrested in Pettis County for receiving stolen property and driving without a valid driver's license. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold.
