Arrests

May 18

8:41 a.m.: Ronald J. Blum, 57, of the 1600 block of West Third Street, was arrested after a traffic stop at West Ninth Street and South Moniteau Avenue for a driver known to be revoked. The vehicle also had a driver's side tail light out and expired registration. Blum was arrested, transported to the Pettis County Jail, booked, and released with a charge of driving with a suspended license. 

May 19

3:31 a.m.: AK K. Fred, 35, of Marshall, was arrested after officers observed a vehicle traveling 58 mph in a 45 mph zone. A traffic stop identified the driver and showed he had a revoked driver's license. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold pending a charge of driving with a suspended license. 

Incidents

May 18

5:57 a.m.: Officers responded to the 700 block of West Seventh Street in reference to a possible burglary. The caller reported that when they woke up, several things had been scattered around the residence. While on scene, officers located methamphetamine, marijuana, and other paraphernalia inside the residence. The caller was later transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center. The contraband was seized for destruction. No charges are being pursued at this time. 

12:02 p.m.: Officers took a report of a stolen license plate from a lot at a business in the 3100 block of West Broadway Boulevard. No suspects have been identified at this time.

11:58 p.m.: A traffic stop was conducted near the intersection of South New York Avenue and East 24th Street. The license plates on the vehicle did not belong to the owner or the vehicle and were seized and placed into evidence to be returned to the Department of Revenue. No charges are being sought.
