Arrests

Nov. 20

1:28 p.m.: Christopher Michael Everts, 19, of the 800 block of Brentwood Avenue, was arrested after an officer performed a subject check in the 400 block of East Seventh Street for a subject involved in a shooting incident. Contact was made with Everts and he was transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold pending charges of unlawful use of a weapon, armed criminal action, and fourth-degree assault.

Incidents

Nov. 16

5:11 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 900 block of East 15th Street in reference to a home break-in. The reporting party said the home was locked before leaving for work and in the evening, the house appeared to have been gone through. Officers walked through the property with the reporting party and photographed the residence. A report was submitted.

Nov. 20

8:07 a.m.: Officers responded to the 900 block of Westwood Avenue for a report of a burglary. They talked with the victim and gathered information on the events that occurred and a report was completed.

12:20 p.m.: Officers responded to a call at a business in the 1400 block of Thompson Boulevard for a report of harassment. They spoke with the reporting party and gathered information about the complaint. A report was completed.

Nov. 20

7:54 p.m.: Ronald R. Cox, 44, of Warrensburg, was arrested in Johnson County for felony driving while intoxicated and careless and imprudent driving. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department and released.
