This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Arrests

Nov. 2

12:58 a.m.: Edward Neal Parsons, 29, of the 700 block of East 14th Street, was arrested after a vehicle stop in the area of West Broadway Boulevard and South Barrett Avenue for no plate lights. Parsons was observed going about 10 mph under the speed limit. He was intoxicated by drugs and was transported to the Pettis County Jail for driving while intoxicated.

11:12 p.m.: Brook Edwards Dowell, 32, of the 5100 block of South Limit Avenue, was arrested after a vehicle stop at West Main Street and North State Fair Boulevard for speeding and improper lane usage. Dowell was intoxicated by drugs, had a revoked license, and a $10 cash-only Lafayette County warrant. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail and was booked on the warrant and for driving while intoxicated and driving with a revoked license.

Incidents

Nov. 6

11:19 a.m.: Officer took a report of a missing person in the 3100 block of Brianna Boulevard. Family that lives out of state has not been able to make contact with the missing person for several weeks. Information was gathered from the family to complete a missing person report and the relative was entered into the system as missing.

3:08 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of East 13th Street in reference to a possible burglary that occurred in the past few days. The reporting party who provided information to the officers who took photographs and documented the thefts. A report has been submitted.
