An opening date for Sedalia’s newest food option has been solidified.
Chick-fil-A, 3200 West Broadway Blvd., will open its doors to the community at 6:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 24.
As part of opening day, the community is invited to participate in a Moove-In Party. Anyone dressed as a cow will be eligible for a free entree or kids’ meal.
Kaitlin Seagren is the local owner-operator. The store is expected to generate over 100 full-time and part-time jobs.
“What first drew me to Chick-fil-A was the opportunity to invest in people and make a meaningful impact in the community,” Seagren said. “Some of the most rewarding moments in my career have come from helping Team Members grow in confidence, develop as leaders and discover what they’re capable of. That’s the kind of environment I hope to create at Chick-fil-A Sedalia — one where our Team Members can thrive, our Guests feel genuinely cared for and our restaurant becomes a trusted part of the community for years to come.”
As part of the opening, Chick-fil-A is donating $25,000 to The Food Bank for Central & Northeast Missouri. The location will also redirect surplus food supply to local nonprofits as part of the Chick-fil-A Shared Table program.
Once open, Chick-Fil-A’ operating hours will be from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday. It will be closed Sunday, matching the company’s model.
