Five people hurt in crash

Five people were hurt at 4:50 p.m. Saturday after a Georgia driver lost control of her vehicle in Henry County.

Abigail F. Mickson, 33, of Robins, Georgia, was driving north on state Route 7 past Northwest 701st Road when her vehicle hydroplaned, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.

As Mickson lost control, her vehicle traveled off the right side of the road and down an embankment. There, it struck a tree and overturned.

Mickson and four passengers were wearing seat belts and suffered minor injuries. She and Edith N. Mensah, 59; Maame Abena S. Agyeman-Prempeh, 33; Adiella H. Ayeman-Prempeh, 3; and Brielle A. Agyeman-Prempeh, 1, all of Springfield, went by ambulance to Belton Regional Medical Center.

Morgan crash injures Warrensburg man

A Warrensburg man’s vehicle overturned in an injury accident at 2 p.m. Saturday in Morgan County.

Jonathan N. Pefley, 23, was northbound on Route W a mile south of Seals Road when he overturned and traveled off the right side of the roadway, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report. His vehicle came to a rest in a shallow creek.

Pefley was wearing a seat belt and suffered moderate injuries. An ambulance took him to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach.
