July 11

2:20 p.m.: An officer saw a male subject on a motorcycle who was stopped in the middle of the intersection of West 16th Street and South Kentucky Avenue. The subject stopped the officer and said a black Ford F-150 almost hit him in the intersection. The officer caught up with the suspect vehicle and initiated a traffic stop on West 10th Street and South Kentucky Avenue. He obtained the driver’s information and is submitting a charge of improper lane use to the municipal court prosecutor.

July 11

10:40 a.m.: A Green Ridge resident reported someone stole his 1971 Suzuki motorcycle and other items overnight. The deputies had no known suspects at the time of the report. The investigation continues.

11 a.m.: Deputies were dispatched to the 1300 block of East Boonville Road in reference to a burglary complaint. The reporting party said someone broke into her home and stole an X-Box gaming system with seven games, a head set and tools. The value of the property hasn’t been determined yet. The deputies turned over the case to the investigations division.
