One hurt in Pettis crash

A Versailles teenager was hurt in a single-vehicle crash in Pettis County on Thursday.

At 10:05 a.m., Stefanie D. Borts, 18, was driving south on Route M south of Echo Road, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report. She traveled off the right side of the road and her vehicle struck a driveway.

Borts was wearing a seat belt and had minor injuries. The Pettis County Ambulance District took her to Bothwell Regional Health Center.

Warsaw woman seriously injured

A Warsaw woman is in serious condition after striking a tree Thursday in Benton County.

Heather L. Roberts, 26, was westbound on Route H at Duran Creek at 1:48 p.m. when she traveled off the right side of the roadway, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.

Her vehicle returned to the road and began to spin. It continued off the left side of the road and crashed into a tree.

Roberts was not wearing a seat belt and suffered serious injuries. A Cole Camp ambulance took her to Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment.

Kansas City man hurt in Johnson County

A Kansas City man crashed off of U.S. Route 50 at 8:55 a.m. Friday in Johnson County.

Coltan C. Hoffman, 23, was eastbound on the highway just west of Northwest 250th Road when he left the road and his vehicle struck a tree, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.

Hoffman, who wasn’t wearing a seat belt, sustained minor injuries. The Johnson County Ambulance District took him to Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence.
