Windsor woman hurt in crash

A Windsor woman suffered moderate injuries in a single-vehicle accident at 9:15 a.m. Friday in Henry County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Lisa M. Malotte, 53, was driving west on state Route 52 at Route OO when she lost control of her vehicle on the snow-covered road. The vehicle traveled off the left side of the road and struck a tree.

Malotte, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by ambulance to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg for her injuries.

Knob Noster man injured

A Knob Noster man was injured in a two-vehicle accident at 11:13 a.m. Friday in Johnson County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Zachary R. Steele, 21, and Michael E. Meyer, 44, of Concordia, were driving east on U.S. Highway 50, three-tenths of a mile west of Wren Way. Steele changed lanes and Meyer’s vehicle began skidding, colliding with Steele’s vehicle.

Steele was taken by Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg with minor injuries.

Reports indicate both drivers were wearing a seat belt.

Man seriously injured in accident

A Leeton man suffered serious injuries in a two-vehicle accident at 12:50 p.m. Friday in Johnson County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Harvey E. Prince, 65, was driving west on state Route 2, one-tenth of a mile west of Southeast 251 Road, and Robert J. Delaney, 64, of Holden, was driving east on Route 2. Prince saw Delaney coming toward him and applied the brakes, which caused the vehicle to begin sliding on the snow-covered road and cross the centerline in front of Delany’s vehicle. Delany’s semi-truck struck Prince’s pickup truck.

Prince was taken by Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg for his injuries.

Reports indicate both drivers were wearing a seat belt.

Stover woman hurt in Morgan

A Stover woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident at 2:05 p.m. Friday in Morgan County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Justice L. Soppae, 18, was driving north on state Route 5, two-tenths of a mile south of Route HH, when she traveled across the centerline and struck a southbound vehicle driven by Glen M. Lutz, 57, of Tipton.

Soppe was taken by private vehicle to Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City with minor injuries.

Reports indicate both drivers were wearing a seat belt.
