Woman hurt in Saline crash
A Chillicothe woman was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 5:20 a.m. Tuesday in Saline County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Mandy J. Stover, 35, was driving south on U.S. Highway 65, south of state Route BB, when her vehicle traveled off the right side of the road and struck a utility pole.
Stover, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by personal vehicle to Carroll County Memorial Hospital in Carrolton with minor injuries.
Marshall man injured in wreck
A Marshall man was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 9:25 a.m. Tuesday in Saline County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Conor E. Hayes, 21, of Cleveland, was driving north on U.S. Highway 65, south of state Route BB, when his vehicle began sliding on a patch of ice and traveled off the right side of the road. It struck a traffic sign and a barbed wire fence.
A passenger in his vehicle, Merik M. Mainz, 22, was taken by private vehicle to Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall with minor injuries.
Reports indicate Hayes was wearing a seat belt but Mainz was not.
