Pettis crash injures Sedalian
A Sedalia woman was hurt in a single-vehicle crash Saturday in Pettis County.
Erin R. Durrill, 33, was eastbound on Route V at 8:58 a.m. when she traveled off the right side of the highway at Bahner Road and struck a fence, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.
Durrill suffered moderate injuries. She was wearing a seat belt during the crash. The Pettis County Ambulance District took her to Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment.
Car strikes 5-year-old boy
A boy was injured as a vehicle struck him in Saline County on Saturday.
At 12:02 p.m., Timothy Samson, 61, of Malta Bend, was driving north on Gladiola Avenue past 150th Trail when he struck 5-year-old pedestrian Levi P. Kent, of Sweet Springs, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.
The boy suffered moderate injuries and went to Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall in a Saline County ambulance. Samson wasn’t wearing a seat belt and had no injuries.
