Kentucky man ejected

A Kentucky man was injured in Saline County in an overturn crash at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Ronald W. Blackwell, 65, of Frankfort, Kentucky, was eastbound on Interstate 70 when he reached a construction zone near the 77.8 mile marker, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report. His vehicle struck three cones in the construction zone and overturned, ejecting Blackwell.

He suffered moderate injuries and went in an ambulance to University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia.

Woman rear-ends tractor

A woman was hurt in a rear-end collision with a tractor at 4:15 p.m. Wednesday in Henry County.

Andrea N. Eaton, 36, of Osceola, was driving west on state Route 52 past Southwest 201st Road when she overtook and struck the tractor’s towed unit, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.

Eaton was wearing a seat belt and had minor injuries. An ambulance took her to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton.

Man’s vehicle overturns in Henry County

An Osceola man’s vehicle overturned off of a Saline County highway Wednesday.

Dale A. Roberts, 40, was driving south on Route ZZ north of Southeast 881st Road at 11:20 p.m. when he failed to negotiate a curve, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.

His vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway and overturned, leaving Roberts with minor injuries. He was wearing a seat belt during the accident.

An ambulance from Golden Valley Memorial Hospital took Roberts to the Clinton facility for treatment.

Car crashes into creek

Two men required immediate hospital treatment after crashing into a Morgan County creek early Thursday morning.

At 2:07 a.m., Johnathon T. Roach, 22, of Versailles, was driving east on McCasland Road west of Route J with Kody D. Frehse, 21, of Camdenton, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.

Roach crossed the center line and traveled off the left side of the roadway. His vehicle struck the guardrail of a bridge and rolled off into a creek.

Neither he nor his passenger was wearing a seat belt during the crash. Roach suffered serious injuries, and Frehse sustained moderate wounds.

A Staff for Life helicopter flew Roach to University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia. Frehse went in an ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach.
