This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Dec. 2

1:50 a.m.: Mark S. Micloskey, 69, of the 100 block of North Quincy Avenue, was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated and misdemeanor possession of marijuana. An officer saw a vehicle stuck on a concrete block on the east side of North Missouri Avenue and north of West Main Street. After an initial investigation, he arrested the driver, Micloskey, on a charge of driving while intoxicated. Micloskey refused to submit a breath test, so the officer obtained a search warrant to get a blood draw at Bothwell Regional Health Center. Afterward, he took Micloskey to the Pettis County Jail.

4:30 p.m.: Raynetta F. Roberts, 53, of Malta Bend, was arrested on charges of misdemeanor stealing, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Officers responded to a store in the 3200 block of West Broadway Boulevard for a theft report. During the investigation, they reportedly discovered Roberts attempted to steal $168.05 worth of merchandise. The officers arrested her and searched her person, which reportedly revealed a small amount of a crystal substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine. They also found several drug paraphernalia items.

6:25 p.m.: Gary D. Spradley, 39, of the 2900 block of Clinton Road, was arrested on a charge of possession of a controlled substance. An officer responded to a business in the 2900 block of South Limit Avenue for a subject check. After a computer check of the subject, Spradley, the officer found he had a municipal warrant from the City of Sedalia. He placed him under arrest and brought him to the Pettis County Jail, where a controlled substance was reportedly located in his wallet.

9:35 p.m.: Andrea L. Brown, 33, of the 300 block of McAnally Court, and Brett M. Langer, 46, of Kansas City, were arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Officers conducted a warrant check on Brown in the 100 block of East Fourth Street. Dispatch confirmed she had four failure to appear warrants from Sedalia and a Pettis County warrant. After they placed her under arrest, she gave them consent to search the room she had been in. The search reportedly uncovered drugs and drug paraphernalia. The officers arrested a male subject, Langer, who was also occupying the room.

12:45 p.m.: Jason K. Reel, 49, of Lincoln, was arrested in Johnson County on charges of felony possession of methamphetamine, felony possession of cocaine, unlawful use of a firearm and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
