Mr. and Mrs. Charles Blakely, of La Monte, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary at The Tiki from 2 to 4 p.m. April 28.
Betty Cole and Charles "Toby" Blakely were married April 25, 1964, in Harrison, Arkansas, with Judge TP Saunders officiating.
Mr. Blakely is retired from AG Co-Op Services in La Monte, where he worked for 15 years, and as a farmer for more than 70 years. Mrs. Blakely is retired as a manager for Casey's General Store in La Monte, where she worked for 28 years.
The couple has four daughters, Dawna (Patrick) Bybee, of Lincoln, Kristina Blakely, of La Monte, Tonya Blakely, of Centerview, and Cindy (Tarl) Bentley, of Warrensburg; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
