Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Koechner, of Tipton, will celebrate their 68th wedding anniversary April 13 with a blessing at mass with Fr. Viviano at St. Andrew Church in Tipton.
Mary Jane Hartman and Virgil Koechner were married April 7, 1956, at St. Andrew Catholic Church.
Mr. Koechner is retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone. Mrs. Koechner is also retired.
The couple has six children, Kirk Koechner, of Eldon, the late Kyle Koechner, of Tipton, Kim Spencer, of Marion, Kent Koechner, of Tipton, Karen Hohne, of Sedalia, and Karla Wood, of Latham; and 15 grandchildren with one due in June.
