Sedalia man in serious condition after Pettis impaired accident
Peyton J. Thompson, 23, of Sedalia, sustained serious injuries at 10:47 p.m. Thursday in a Pettis County accident.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Thompson was driving a 2003 Nissan Xterra north on state Route M south of Goodwill Chapel Road when he ran off the right side of the road, traveled down an embankment and overturned several times.
Thompson was not wearing a seat belt, and was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center by Pettis County ambulance district.
He was arrested for driving while intoxicated and careless and imprudent driving involving an accident and released for care.
