Two from Waverly hurt in Johnson accident

Jennifer D. Worley, 43, of Waverly, sustained moderate injuries, and Jerimi D. Worley, 41, also of Waverly sustained minor injuries at 12:50 a.m. Friday in a Johnson County accident. 

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Jerimi Worley was headed north on state  Highway 13 at Northeast 1150 Road in a 2017 Nissan when he traveled off the left side of the  roadway and struck a ditch. Neither of the Worley’s were wearing seat belts, both were transported to Western Missouri medical center in Warrensburg by Johnson County ambulance District. 

Lake Ozark man injured in Moniteau accident

Anthony S. Mitchell, 43, of Lake Ozark, sustained moderate injuries at 6:44 a.m. Thursday in a Moniteau County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Mitchell was driving south on state Highway 87 North of state Route C in a 2006 Nissan Altima when he traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a fence.

He was not wearing a seat belt, and was transported by Mid Mo Ambulance District to University Hospital in Columbia.

Five injured in Morgan County accident

Anne A. Kirchhofer, 81, of Stover, sustained moderate injuries, Eldon E. Van Dyke, 74, of Stover sustained minor injuries, Lisa M. Davidson, 55, of Versailles, sustained serious injuries, Wayne D. Cleveland, 45, of Tipton, sustained minor injuries, and an 11-year-old boy from Versailles also sustained minor injuries, at 11:40 p.m. Thursday in a Morgan County accident. 

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the accident occurred as a 2014 Dodge Dart, driven by Kerchofer east on state Highway 52, east of Walnut Road, at a high rate of  speed, approached an eastbound 2011 F350 driven by Cleveland and swerved into westbound  oncoming traffic, then back into the eastbound lane striking the rear of the F-350. The Dodge traveled off the right side of the roadway and returned to the roadway crossing the center line and striking a westbound 2012 Nissan Juke driven by Davidson head on. 

Van Dyke and Kerchofer were both wearing seat belts and were taken to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach by ambulance.

Cleveland and the juvenile male were also both wearing their seat belts and were taken to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach by ambulance.

Davidson, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken to University Hospital in Columbia by air ambulance.
