Three seriously injured in Benton accident

Kristen N. Ellis, 31, of Sedalia, David J. Perryman, 49, of Edwards, and Dennis W. Helt, 51, of Plattsburg, all received serious injuries at 10:50 a.m. Sunday in a Benton County accident. 

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Perryman was driving south on U.S. 65 at Byrum Avenue in a 1997 Ford F150 when he crossed the center-line and struck a northbound 2004 Chevrolet Suburban driven by Helt. The F150 returned to the southbound lane and was struck by a 2011 Chevrolet Cruze driven by Ellis.

All drivers were wearing a seat belt. Ellis was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center by Warsaw-Lincoln Ambulance District. Perryman and Helt were transported to the University of Columbia by Life Flight Eagle Air Ambulance. 

Lincoln man hurt in Benton accident

Lucas Q. Bock, 24, of Lincoln, received minor injuries at 4:08 p.m. Sunday in a Benton County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Randy J. Vajen, 35, of Mora, was driving east on Cheese Creek Road at Lumpee Avenue in a 2010 Ford Expedition when Bach, who was driving north on Lumpee Avenue in a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix, failed to stop at the stop sign and was struck in the driver's door.

It is unknown if Bock was wearing a seat belt, while Vajen was. Bock was transported by Cole Camp Ambulance District to Bothwell Regional Health Center.

Gravois Mills man seriously injured in Moniteau motorcycle accident 

Brad L. Wilson, 58, of Gravois Mills, was seriously injured at 8:30 p.m. Friday in a Moniteau County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Wilson was driving south on Buck Creek Road south of Lakewood Drive on a 2003 Harley Davidson Electra Glide when he traveled off the right side of the road and overturned.

He was transported by MU Air Care to University Hospital in Columbia. Wilson was not wearing a helmet.

Kansas man hurt in Morgan accident

Ronald E. Moore, 62, of Shawnee, Kansas, received minor injuries at 9:51 p.m. Sunday in a Morgan County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Moore was driving south on Route J in a 2004 Jeep Liberty when he suffered a medical condition, causing the vehicle to travel off the left side of the roadway and overturn. 

He was transported by Mid-Mo Ambulance District to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach. Moore was wearing a seat belt. 

Slater man seriously injured in Saline accident

Brian E. Lunn, 59, of Slater, received serious injuries at 8:52 p.m. Sunday in a Saline County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Lunn was parked in a 2004 GMC Yukon with a trailer with no lights on, partially blocking the eastbound lane of Route 240, when it was struck in the rear by a 2002 Chevrolet Blazer driven by Jacob R. King, 19, of Marshall.

King was wearing a seat belt, Lunn was not. Lunn was transported to University Hospital in Columbia.
