Leeton man seriously injured in Johnson accident

Michael J. Morning, 53, of Leeton, received serious injuries at 10:55 a.m. Tuesday in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Morning was driving north on Southeast 401 at Route Y in a 2013 Chevrolet when he failed to stop at a stop sign and struck an embankment.

He was wearing a seat belt and was transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg. 

Sedalia man seriously injured in Johnson accident

Jared C. Demilia, 28, of Sedalia, received serious injuries at 12:21 p.m. Monday in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Demilia was driving north on Highway BB when he lost control and began to skid, traveling off the right side of the roadway, striking an embankment and several trees. The vehicle overturned and the driver was ejected.

Demilia was not wearing a seat belt and was transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Research Medical Center in Kansas City.
