Kyle E. Pitts, 26, of Warrensburg, was killed at 8:41 p.m. Monday in a Johnson County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Madison F. Dunnavant, 19, of Warrensburg, was driving a 2015 Ram 1500 south on Business 13 when she observed a pedestrian in the roadway. Dunnavant attempted to swerve but struck Pitts.
Pitts was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg by Johnson County Ambulance District and pronounced dead by Dr. Jason So.
Andrea D. Carroll, 19, of Baltimore, Maryland, sustained minor injuries at 7:50 a.m. Friday in a Pettis County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Carroll was the occupant in a 2019 Hyundai Sonata driven north on Route H by Isaiah A. Hopkins, 19, also of Baltimore, who failed to yield to a 2010 Toyota Prius. The vehicles collided and came to rest off the roadway.
Carol was wearing a seat belt and was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center by private vehicle.
