Three hurt in Henry County accident

Rachel M. Esau, 39, of Olathe, Kansas; Matthew J. Parnacott, 50, of Kansas City, and Christine S. Waugh, 59, of Olathe, Kansas, sustained minor injuries at 12:50 p.m. Saturday in a Henry County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2004 Toyota Sienna driven by Parnacott west on Highway N at Highway B attempted to make a left turn and traveled into the path of a 2012 Nissan Altima driven east by Waugh. After impact both vehicles traveled off the south side of the roadway.

All passengers were wearing seat belts. Waugh and Esau were transported by Golden Valley Ambulance District to Golden Valley Hospital in Clinton. Parnacott refused treatment at the scene.

Warsaw pedestrian in serious condition after Pettis County accident

Devin M. Miller, 26, of Warsaw, sustained serious injuries at 8:25 p.m. Saturday in a Pettis County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2022 Ford Maverick driven by John Yardley north on Highway 65 south of Honda Road struck Miller, who was walking near the right edge of the roadway.

He was transported to University Hospital in Columbia.
