Versailles woman hurt in intoxicated driving accident
Joyce A. Hart, 43, of Versailles, sustained minor injuries at 4:25 a.m. Wednesday in a Morgan County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Hart was driving a 2011 GMC Terrain north on Route D south of Red Ribbon Road when she skidded across the center of the roadway, collided with the ditch, and struck a tree.
Hart was arrested for driving while intoxicated - alcohol, and failure to drive on the right-half of the roadway. She was released and transported by Mid-MO Ambulance District to St. Mary's Hospital in Blue Springs. Hart was wearing a seat belt.
