Three injured in Henry collision

Three people received hospital treatment following a Henry County collision Monday.

John B. Hale, 20, of Clinton, was driving south on state Route 13 at 3:26 p.m. when he traveled into the northbound lane at Northeast 1000th Road, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.

He struck the front left corner of a southbound vehicle driven by Jonathan M. Bollmeyer, 37, of Lexington. After impact, Hale’s vehicle came to a rest in the ditch on the east side of the highway, and Bollmeyer’s vehicle stopped in the northbound lane facing south.

Hale had minor injuries and received treatment at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton.

Bollmeyer suffered moderate injuries, and a passenger in his vehicle, Carrie M. Bollmeyer, 37, of Lexington, had minor wounds. They went by ambulance to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.

All drivers and passengers involved were wearing seat belts at the time of the accident.

Crash leads to DWI charge

A Warrensburg man was arrested after crashing his vehicle Monday in Johnson County.

At 9:51 p.m., Brian D. Paredes, 28, was westbound on U.S. Route 50 when he traveled off the roadway west of Northwest 601st Road, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report. His vehicle struck an embankment and overturned.

Paredes was wearing a seat belt and suffered moderate injuries. The Johnson County Ambulance District took him to Western Missouri Medical Center.

Before releasing him for medical treatment, troopers placed Paredes under arrest on charges of driving while intoxicated and failure to maintain financial responsibility, according to a highway patrol arrest report.

Information is taken from preliminary Missouri State Highway Patrol reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved.
