Three hurt in Henry County crash

An 8-year-old boy from Clinton, Leanna J. Williams, 30, of Clinton, and Colby J. Bullock, 23, of Montrose, sustained minor injuries at 12:50 p.m. Thursday in a Henry County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Bullock was driving a 2017 Dodge Journey south on state Route 7 when he hydroplaned and traveled off the roadway. The vehicle hit an embankment and became airborne before coming to rest.

It is unknown if Bullock was wearing a seat belt, the others were restrained. Everyone was transported by Golden Valley ambulance to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton.

Holden woman killed in Johnson County accident

Julie M. Huston, 44, of Holden, was killed at 11:34 a.m. Thursday in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Huston was driving a 2012 Chevrolet Tahoe east on state Route 2 when she traveled off the right side of the roadway. Her vehicle struck a ditch, overturned, and struck trees.

Huston was not wearing a seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Slater man seriously injured in US 50 accident

Edwin E. Petty, 63, of Slater, was seriously injured at 5:10 p.m. Thursday in a Moniteau County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Petty was driving a 2014 Ford Fusion east on U.S. Highway 50 when he traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck an embankment. The vehicle continued across Koerken-Meier Road and struck a stop sign.

Petty was wearing a seat belt and was transported by Mid-MO Ambulance District to Bothwell Regional Health Center.
