Four hurt, one in serious condition after Benton accident

Mark E. Grenoble, 67, of Warsaw, is in serious condition and Nicole M. Alvarado, 24, of Liberty; Aaliyah S. McMillan, 22, of Independence, and  Srenity Estes, 19, of Harrisonville all sustained minor injuries at 9:43 a.m. Sunday in a Benton County accident. 

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2001 Ford Escape driven by Grenoble south on state Route 7 at Cold Spring Avenue drove into the path of a westbound 2014 Toyota Corolla driven by Estes, causing the Toyota to strike the Ford on the driver's side. Both vehicles traveled off the southside of Route 7 and came to rest. 

Everyone was wearing a seat belt. Estes, Alvarado and McMillan were transported by Warsaw-Lincoln Ambulance District to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton. Grenoble was transported by Life Flight Eagle to Research Medical Center in Kansas City. 

Three in serious condition after Henry County accident

Devin M. Huey, 18, of Clinton; Gloria K. Atherton, 79, of Creighton, and David H. Atherton, 83, of Creighton, all sustained serious injuries at 8:15 a.m. Friday in a Henry County accident. 

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Atherton was driving a 2016 Chevrolet South on state Route 7 at NW 1501 Road when he pulled into the path of a westbound 2009 Ford driven by Huey.

Huey was not wearing a seat belt and was transported to Truman Medical Center in Independence. The Athertons were wearing seat belts. Gloria was transported to Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence and David was transported to Overland Park Regional Medical Center in Overland Park, Kansas.

Warrensburg man arrested after Johnson accident

Daide A. Agnew, 28, of Warrensburg, sustained moderate injuries at 2:32 a.m. Sunday in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Agnew was traveling west on U.S. Highway 50 at NW 821 Road when his vehicle left the roadway, became airborne, and overturned, coming to rest in the median. 

He was wearing a seat belt and was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg by Johnson County Ambulance District. 

Agnew was arrested for driving while intoxicated and careless and imprudent driving resulting in a crash. 

Jamestown 17-year-old hurt in Moniteau accident

A 17-year-old male from Jamestown sustained minor injuries at 12:44 p.m. Sunday in a Moniteau county accident. 

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the juvenile was driving a 1997 International south on state Route 179 near Swiss Valley Road when he traveled off the right side of the roadway. He overcorrected and the vehicle returned to the roadway, traveled off the left side of the roadway and overturned.

He was wearing a seat belt and was transported by ambulance to Saint Mary's Hospital in Jefferson City.

Kansas man in serious condition after Morgan motorcycle accident

Ronald E. Moore, 63, of Shawnee, Kansas, sustained serious injuries at 5:15 p.m. Friday in a Morgan County motorcycle accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Moore was driving a 2004 Yamaha Road Star north on state Route 135 south of Little Proctor Road when he traveled off the right side of the road and was ejected. 

He was not wearing a helmet and was transported to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach by Mid-Mo Ambulance District.

Two from Montreal hurt in Morgan accident

A 14-year-old girl and Shanel D. Vansyok, 39, both of Montreal, both received minor injuries at 3:58 p.m. Sunday in a Morgan County accident. 

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 1997 Dodge Ram driven by Trevas J. Rohrer, 19, of Pilot Grove, was northbound on state Route 135 at Route T south junction when he failed to stop at an intersection and struck a 2014 Jeep Wrangler driven south by Vansyoc.

Everyone was wearing seat belts. Vansyok and the 14-year-old were transported by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach. 

Three injured in Pettis accident

Shanelle L. Lusk, 18, of Chicago, Illinois; Marcell D. Wilson, 50, of Sedalia, and Kenneth l. Grant, 57, of Sedalia, all sustained moderate injuries at 1:37 a.m. Sunday in a Pettis County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a southbound 2011 Toyota Camry driven by Grant on U.S. Highway 65 south of state Route 765 traveled off the left side of the roadway, crossed over the northbound lanes, became airborne, rolled multiple times and came to rest on 765. 

None of the occupants were wearing seat belts and all were transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center by Pettis County Ambulance District.
