Two men injured in Benton accident

Harold D. James, 71, of Deepwater, received moderate injuries, and Lowell R. Swisher, 71, of Warsaw, received serious injuries at 1:15 p.m. Friday in a Benton County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2014 Ford F-150 driven west on state Route 7 was struck by a 2008 Ford Escape driven by Swisher, who failed to yield. 

Both men were wearing a seat belt. James was transported by Warsaw-Lincoln Ambulance District to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton. Swisher was transported by LifeFlight Eagle to University Hospital in Columbia.

Kansas City woman hurt in Johnson accident

Stephanie R. Fisher, 23, of Kansas City, Missouri, received minor injuries at 5:50 p.m. Friday in a Johnson County accident. 

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Fisher was driving north on Highway P in a 2007 Mercury when she traveled off the roadway. 

She was wearing a seat belt and was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg by private vehicle.

Warrensburg woman injured in Johnson accident

Crystal A. Adams, 20, of Warrensburg, was moderately injured at 4:40 p.m. Saturday in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Adams was driving east on SW 200 in a 2002 Honda Civic when she swerved to miss an object in the roadway and traveled off the left side of the road, overturning and striking a utility pole.

She was wearing a seat belt and was transported to Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri by Johnson County Ambulance District.

Sedalia man seriously injured in Johnson accident

Leovigildo Marcos Lazaro, 39, of Sedalia, received serious injuries at 7:55 p.m. Saturday in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Lazaro was driving south on Route D in a 1994 Ford Ranger when he traveled off the road and then returned to the road, overcorrecting and causing the vehicle to overturn. He was ejected and the vehicle came to rest on the west side of the roadway.

He was not wearing a safety device and was transported to Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri.

Stover man injured in Morgan car-motorcycle accident

Jon B Angell, 55, of Stover, received moderate injuries at 1:10 p.m. Friday in a Morgan County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2009 Ford Escape driven by Golden S. Belcher, 48, of Stover, had slowed for an animal in the roadway and was struck in the rear by a 1992 Harley Davidson Heritage Softail driven by Angell. 

Angell was not wearing a helmet and was transported by Mid-Mo Ambulance District to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach.
