Candace J. Schultz, 20, of Warsaw, a juvenile male of unknown age from Warsaw, and Doris F. Busen, 75, of Stover, all received serious injuries at 5:12 p.m. Wednesday in a Morgan County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Busen was driving south on Route 5 at Route TT in a 1991 Dodge Dakota. A 2005 Kia Optima driven by Schultz slowed and was struck in the rear by Busen. The Optima with Shultz and the juvenile occupant began sliding and skidding and traveled off the right side of the road. The Dodge Dakota continued forward and traveled off the left side of the road, entered the ditch and struck several small trees.

Busen and the juvenile were both wearing a seat belt though Schultz was not. They were all transported by Mid-Mo Ambulance District to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach.
