Versailles woman injured in Morgan crash
Hailee J. Fretueg, 28, of Versailles, was seriously injured at 7:18 p.m. Wednesday in a Morgan County crash.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Fretueg was driving north on Route TT north of state Route 5 in a 2006 Hyundai Azera when she failed to negotiate a curve, traveled off the right side of the roadway, and struck a tree. She was not wearing a seat belt.
Fretueg was transported to University Hospital in Columbia by MU Air.
Illinois woman injured in Morgan County boating accident
Jody A. Smith, 63, from Springfield, Illinois, received moderate injuries at 3:45 p.m. Wednesday in a Lake of the Ozarks boating accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Gregory A. Smith, 62, of Springfield, Illinois, was boating south in an Atlantis pontoon boat on the Gravois arm in Schoolhouse Cove when passenger Jody Smith attempted to step off the vessel onto the dock and lost her balance. She fell back against the vessel and then into the water.
She was not wearing a life preserver and was transported by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach.
