Warsaw woman seriously injured in Benton intoxicated driving accident
Michelle E. Wright, 50, of Warsaw, was seriously injured at 9:20 p.m. Thursday in a Benton County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Wright was eastbound on Hensley Road in a 1997 Ford when she failed to stop at a stop sign, traveled through the intersection at Cold Springs Avenue, and struck an embankment.
It is undetermined if Wright was wearing a seat belt. She was charged with driving while intoxicated and released to be transported by Warsaw-Lincoln Ambulance District to Bothwell Regional Health Center.
Stover man seriously injured in Morgan accident
Corey J. White, 22, of Stover, was seriously injured at 9:43 p.m. Thursday in a Morgan County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, White was an occupant in a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by an unknown driver east on Dogwood Drive near Gentle Slope Road when the vehicle traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a tree.
White was not wearing a seat belt and was transported to University Hospital in Columbia.
