Warsaw man hurt in Benton accident
John N. Brisbin, 61, of Warsaw, received minor injuries at 5:25 p.m. Monday in a Benton County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Brisbin was driving south on U.S. 65 south of Route AC in a 2019 Ram when he lost control on the wet roadway, traveled off the left side of the road, and impacted the ground.
He was wearing a seat belt and was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center by Warsaw-Lincoln Ambulance District.
Edwards man suffers medical event and dies while driving
Kenny L. Foster, 61, of Edwards, died at 8:45 p.m. Monday in Benton County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Foster was driving south on Route 7 south of Route PP when he suffered a medical event causing his 2009 Toyota Corolla to travel off the left side of the roadway and strike an embankment. The vehicle then returned to the roadway and traveled off the right side striking a ditch.
He was transported to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach by Life Flight Eagle in Osage Beach. He had not been wearing a seat belt. Foster was pronounced dead by Dr. Rodger Campbell.
